Goodbye Changsha

We are leaving Changsha to go to Guangzhou for the final leg of our journey. Once in Guangzhou we will have several appointments which will allow Maya to leave the country. We are sad to leave Changsha but excited to get one step closer to home. Tonight we enjoyed a dinner with traditional folk dancing which Maya loved. The people of Changsha have been wonderful to us and we hope to bring Maya back here one day. We won't be posting again until Sunday. In the meantime enjoy a few more pics of our girl.

  • Amazing!!!! She seems so at home with you, it was meant to be. Her personality shows so well in the photos, and I love the photo of her eating watermelon. I look forward to watching her eat, she too enjoys her food. Her growth in one week, WOW, she is gifted!!! You are perfect parents for Maya. Each day I feel like I have gotten to know her better, and we are all so appreciative that you have shared so much. Can't wait for you to come home....Hugs and Kisses, Colleen and Family

  • She is soooo cute!! I love all the pictures of her laughing and smiling, she must know she has two wonderful parents!! Skeeter, Jet and I have been hanging out for ahile today and they are both being fiesty as ever. Skeeter wants to play outside all day even though it started to rain, I had to go out and carry him in, 2 seconds later he is scratching on the door to go out again. Jet hung out in the garden for a little while meowing at all the squirrels, the squirrels were making funny noises also, maybe jet was discussing with them how to spring him from his little tunnel. I hope you all have a safe journey and I can't wait ot see you all! Love Skeeter, Jet, and Jamey

    p.s. Jet is sitting here in my lap meowing away, I think he is telling me to tell you get home so he can see his little sister!

  • Hey guys! Can I just say, ONE MORE TIME, how PERFECT the three of you are together? :) Lori, try to get her into the suitcase maybe on the floor where it can be seen better, with her colorful socks and clothes hanging out of it and put one of the socks on her head. OKAY everybody, I know you're saying, "WHAT?", like I'm nuts (well,I know I am a little) but Lori will know why I'm saying that and can explain to you individually without posting publicly about it!

    I can't wait to see Fritzna's face when she see's "baby" in real life and not on our refrigerator! :)
